Wow what a great time we had this past weekend in Chicago! We took the 13hr car ride starting Thursday after work we made it all the way to just south of Louiville where we stayed the night with Libby on guard duty.
On Friday we managed to make it to Chicago through a few tough rain storms but we made it none the less! We were able to visit with Karries cousins at a surprise party that Mark and his mom had for Jill, it was great to see them all and catch up a little bit on what was going on in their lives!
Saturday was spent hanging out with Karries mom in the morning then we had Drew's wedding to go to, they held the ceremony at a beautiful green house where the style and sophistication of a fancy wedding met with the beauty of a natural Japanese inspired garden coy and all.
Sunday was surprise time for Karrie when she found out that our family was having a surprise baby shower for her and Ian! It was great to catch up with all our friends that we have not seen in ages some as long as since our wedding!
